Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming and scary, yet also become a sacred and fulfilling journey. My goal is to create a safe and comforting space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. So I can walk alongside each client on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
My name is Emily Arthur and I am a psychotherapy Intern at Circle Psychotherapy and Wellness. I am in the process of completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and currently hold a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Psychology and Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph.
I work with individuals aged 10 and older who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and even sport performance anxiety. I approach therapy with a person-centred philosophy, focusing on the unique needs of each individual and integrate different modalities, such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches, to create a personalized, supportive experience. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, build resilience, and foster a sense of confidence and inner peace.
A little about me:
- I’m an animal lover with four fur babies who bring joy to my life
- When I’m not working, I am coaching girls’ volleyball
- I’m a dedicated Swiftie (Taylor Swift fan!)
- Reading is one of my greatest passions

Hello! My name is KayLee, and I am a dedicated counselling psychology student currently enrolled in the Master of Arts Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. I am committed to integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic approaches to support individuals on their journey towards emotional wellness.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in Psychology and Political Science. I have extensive experience working in the field of education where I encouraged individual growth through unique and personalized care. It was through this experience that I was granted the rewarding experience of working with clients from the age five to 65, teaching them violin and piano.
With a foundation in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based practices, I am passionate about helping clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals. I have a special interest in using creative approaches, such as music and art, to facilitate self-
expression and emotional regulation in therapy sessions. In addition to this, I am also very passionate about exploring various counselling approaches such as narrative therapy and Adlerian therapy, to work through past experiences and work toward future
goals.
If you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger, stress, or just having difficulty achieving goals and overall happiness, we can work together through a person-centered approach to customize a treatment plan that is unique to you.
A little bit about me:
- I enjoy spending time in nature, drinking coffee, and playing violin
- My favourite book is called The Institute by Stephen King
- I moved to Ontario from Upstate New York at the age of 19
- I thoroughly enjoy meeting and helping people. I look forward to meeting you soon!
